Accessibility

I am committed to providing services and online information in a way that respects the dignity, independence and differing accessibility needs of people with disabilities.

Website accessibility

I aim to make this website clear, usable and accessible to as many visitors as reasonably possible.

Accessibility considerations may include readable typography, sufficient colour contrast, meaningful headings, descriptive links, alternative text for relevant images, keyboard usability, and compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies.

Ontario requires public-facing organizations to address accessibility, although the specific website WCAG requirements depend partly on organization size; the mandatory public-website WCAG provisions apply to designated public-sector organizations and businesses/non-profits with 50 or more employees.

Accessible communication

If you experience difficulty accessing information on this website or require information in another accessible format, please contact me.

I will work with you to identify an appropriate accessible format or communication support based on your needs, where reasonably possible.

Ontario's accessibility guidance specifically provides for making information and communication accessible upon request and working with the individual to determine an appropriate format or support.

Accommodations

If you require an accommodation to participate in virtual psychotherapy or the consultation process, you are welcome to raise this when contacting the practice.

Accessibility needs will be considered individually and reasonable efforts will be made to identify an appropriate accommodation within the nature and scope of the services offered.
